The Line Up

The Line Up
A colorful array of longstitch books.
All the covers are painted with watercolors and ink.
The spines are sewn onto leather for added stability.

The Red one with a black leather spine.

The Blue one with a brown leather spine.

Bookbinding is always a fun summertime project.
I have many more waiting in the wings.
What have you been working on this summer?

The Summer of Color is ending this week so I have
added my colorful books to their list.
Have a great week!

  8. Loving your books, the binding is amazing and fab patterns on them all. My summer is spent mainly with the 10 grandchildren, although not all at once, thank heavens......lol So crafting and art are on the back burner for the moment. Annette x

  19. These are awesome! I love book binding. I always find I take so long to do it and make such a huge mess...and when you're doing all that in your bedroom, it becomes kind of inconvenient haha. Your books look beautiful.

  20. Wow, Cynnie, these are beautiful books - I like all those bright colors. So what are you going to do with them - sell them? Blank paper inside? That would make great sketchbooks.
