A happy Hippo going for a refreshing dip on a sunny day.
I don't usually paint animals but I could not resist this cute face and had to give it a go in watercolor.

A zoo hippo, Cynnie? I don't think they are native to Germany. ;-) This is a terrific painting of that funny "water hog." (Love the new look of your blog, too.)
