This is wonderful.. You my friend are so talented.. I wish I could paint. I am dabbling in some mixed media canvas right now.. Today I am going to try some painting on it.. Wish me luck..
When I saw the post title, I started singing (in my head) "Arizona"....then I had to Google it to see who sang it! (Mark Lindsay)
Arizona, take off your rainbow shades Arizona, have another look at the world My myyy Arizona, cut off your Indian braids Arizona, hey won'tcha go my way
Love this painting of the aloe, Cynnie. It IS aloe, isn't it?
Hi Cynnie! I tried to comment on this before, but apparently the blogger gods were displeased with me! I think this painting is just wonderful- the colors, the shapes, the composition are all fantastic. I'm also envious because you can obviously do everything, and so well!! :) You should paint more! (more, more!)
I was just thinking of you when all of a sudden a message arrived with your name on it!! Wow! I popped over to your blog to have a look and was blown away by this piece. Beautifully rich and evocative! Happy Easter to you too my friend.
Cynnie I've never visited that part of America but my sister and BIL have and I remember their holiday photographs and yes, you have captured that sense of intense heat from the sun's rays. Remarkable work. Wishes for a great weekend. Lynne
