Poppy Field
Poppies are everywhere right now... fields and fields
of them.
Go out in the early morning when the air is cool and the
mist still clings to the ground. It is really quiet...just you
and a field of poppies.

Wow, this is amazing, I love your watercolour. I think poppies are amazing too ... Something about their colour ... especially the red against a backdrop of green.

ReplyDeleteI love poppies, particularly red and pink ones. I was at my mother's home today, and the poppies are blooming all over the place. That's one thing about poppies!

ReplyDeleteI remember many many years ago visiting an artsy German friend who lived just outside of Munich...she had picked a feldstrauss for her table in my honor (poppies, blue bachelor buttons and wheat)...I have never forgotten it!
