May Flowers

My lilacs are blooming nicely as well as the alliums.

My apple tree was gorgeous but the high winds have since blown all the lovely
pink blossoms off of it.

I am sharing this with Weekend Flowers and Floral Friday.

There were so many tulips this spring.

Thousands of these too.  I could have had as many wishes as I wanted.

Hope your wish comes true......make one.

  2. After listening to thunder and watching flashes of lightning accompanied by heavy rain (today is the first day of winter) , from about 9.30 pm till nearly 2am, with very little sleep, your flowers promise the coming Spring, Cynnie. Greetings from Oz.

  3. What a beautiful display, Cynnie! I had tulips for the first time in years, because I now have a spray that keeps the deer away from the plants they usually eat! (I tried to photograph a dandelion seedhead today, but didn't get a good focus!)

  12. Holy cow, all from your yard? I love those orange ones especially. How I wish I didn't kill plants as completely as I do. And my mom has a green thumb so it's not fair! I had some pretty pink and white zinnias that managed to come up for two years, but this year nothing! I should research some "easy" flowers for a yard in Evanston, IL. :)
