Blueberries

My favorite summer fruit.

Nothing tastes better than chilled blueberries.

I have been eating so many of them lately that I thought
I better snap a few before they are all gone today.

I have started a few watercolor paintings of these beauties.

The best thing is.....as you are working on them and the
blood sugar starts feeling a little low....just pop a few
in your mouth and you have the energy to paint all day long.

What are you working on this week?

I am sharing my berries with Tuesday Muse, Tuesday Around the World and

Oh Yum!
Are these the ones that are purple on the inside? Then they also make a great colour pallette to paint with :)

Hmmm, lecker!

I can't get enough of these at the moment, they grow in my garden and I keep picking them of the bush.
Visiting from P52.
Have a fab week. :)

Liebe Cynthia,

I love blueberries as well, but what has captured my attention at the moment are the figs that are ripe on our tree right now. There's nothing better to me...

Happy Summer!! xoxo Silke

Beautiful macros! Love all the deep blue purple tones. Blueberries are my son's favorite fruit, so I can't seem to keep enough around to photograph :)

Hi Cynthia! I love blueberries too! I made a blueberry pie recently too! Can't wait to see your paintings of them. We've been doing a lot of exploring and traveling through our new lovely state of Washington. The summer is flying by...haven't had a lot of time to blog but hope to get back to it soon! Take care.

Yummy looking photos, Cynthia. Not an easy subject to paint, I'd think, but I will be watching for your renditions.

Such beautiful images! And I do agree - blueberries make everything better, don't they?

This week I'm trying to cram in a new watercolor painting and updating around the house but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. :)

Enjoy your day.

Yum! Blueberries look and taste wonderful! I have frozen ones with my breakfast each morning, thawed in the fridge overnight, mixed with seeds, yoghurt and coconut oil.
