On My Kitchen Counter 4

Cold and snowy winter days are hopefully over.
They kept me indoors setting up
fruit and veg still life possibilities for future paintings.

Long winter days can drive one
bonkers and I sometimes resorted to playing with my food before preparing it.

With such colors,,, who could resist painting such beauties.
Too pretty to eat you say.
That is the best part,,,eating the props.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful start to springtime.

Back to the drawing board.....

I am sharing this with Sweet Shot Tuesday

Yes, such lovely colors and foods! Fun that you create still lifes to paint. It is a time of year when we crave growth, warmth, butterflies and flowers!

I often photograph them instead of painting because I'm not good at realistic painting. The figs look yummy, oh and the artichokes are wonderful! Just give me a delicious garlic sauce and I'll devour them bit by bit.

Oh lovely! Wow, figs right? I've never really seen one like that up close. How do you like to prepare them?
