Tulip Cards

The card was stamped with various graphic elements and then gesso and jaune gouache were randomly dabbed on in order to produce a recessed effect.

I painted some watercolor paper with random reds and yellows and a little gesso. I stamped the quote with shadow ink so it would blend into the background.

I then stamped the tulip from Penny Black and added gold spritz.....distressed the edges and added a gold heart brad.

A few other examples using more of the same paint and paper.
