A beautiful Hyacinth Macaw in flight.

Their wingspan measures up to three

feet wide....what an amazing beauty.

Some of his feathers are attached to the

card but unfortunately my scanner cannot

pick up the blue iridescense.

Friends

Card number three in the Flower Garden set.

This card uses a different edge punch at the

bottom and is

tied with some burgundy yarn for accent.

Recycle

Meow

I like to recycle store bought greeting

cards that people send me.

Here I used a cat that I received.

I cut it out and added a crown.

I mean every princess needs a crown,

just ask Kate if you don´t believe me.

A few crowns were

stamped on the white card and a few paw

prints around this lilac persian. I topped it

off with some vellum, jewel studded brads

and fibers.

Flower Garden II

Joy II

Another in the set of Flower Garden cards.

The button was sewn onto the card by knotting

the metallic thread in front of the button which

gives it a fluffy, flowering look made out of

the thin thread. If you missed the first in this

garden series you can see it here.

You may also remember the flower I made out

of gold thread on this tag.

We have finally gotten some decent rain so

my flower garden is thriving. Maybe you are

out working in your garden on this beautiful

Saturday.

I have been working on a series of flower garden

cards using watercolors and stamps.

A white satin vine was added as well as

three tiny punched squares.

I think I have been inspired by all the

wonderful flowers in my own garden.

Random Act of Kindness

Lynne from Scotland sent me this wonderful

card along with some special papers for making

transfers onto fabric. Out of the goodness of

her heart....wasn´t that nice of her. Want to see

more of her work? She is the queen of romance.

Her art will transport you to another era in time.

Happy Mother`s Day

This Sunday is Muttertag in Germany as well as in

the USA. Wishing all the mothers of the world a

lovely day.

Can you ever get enough chocolate?
This is a chocolate tag which I sent to
Anneke back in January.

She sent me this tag back in December and

since she loves the color green and comes

from the land of fine chocolate....I knew she

would appreciate such a tag.
