A Sea of Thanks

Some of my new stamps.
These fish are swimming in a sea of thanks.

I tore wavy strips of some of my Gelli Plate paper and glued them onto the card fronts.
Stamped some of the Art Journey fish and seashells and added some script and thread.

I was lucky enough to win this little jackpot from Godelieve Tijsken´s
stamping blog.  She included one of her handcarved flower stamps for me too.
Thanks a lot Godelieve!!

Cardmaking Fun

This past weekend was World Cardmaking Day.

In honor of all the hardworking cardmakers I decided I better try
to get organized.......

and considering these were a lot of my spring cards and it is now autumn,,,,

but you know what they say...

A girl can never be too rich, too skinny or
make too many cards.

So now that the season of next spring is already taken care of ....it is back
to autumn.
Oh, ,,, let us not forget the chaos and mess of making a ton
of  Christmas cards.  Fun awaits me with
Santa and snowflakes.

Have a great day!

I have been busy having a fun watercolor paint party here with
some greeting cards I have been making.

Drawing some lines,,,filling them in with watercolor and then writing
a wish.

Some happy hearts for you.
Have a happy weekend!

Leftovers

While cleaning up my studio...yes, I do that once in
a great while,....I found some dried up, leftover paint rags.

Of course I had to use them for something so I ripped them into
small squares.

Found some papers for layering.......

and they turned into some quote cards.
That was fun,,,especially the ripping part.

Have a great start to your week ahead.

Pears

Pears are one of my favorite things to paint.

Pears are one of my favorite things to eat....next to apples of course.

The best thing about painting pears is that when you are finished
you can devour the evidence.

Hi

HI
how are you doing this Wednesday morning?

Using my newfound lettering skills...isn´t the word
HI just the perfect word to use when practicing.
I have around 20 different versions of this fabulous
little word.
I combined it here with some flower cut outs using my
Slice machine,,,my newest studio toy,,,and a great
way to use up that paper stash.

Penmanship

I recently finished a lettering course with Lori Vliegen.

My penmanship leaves a lot to be desired but I really feel like I have
made some headway and I really enjoy doing these one syllable words.

This is also a good way to use up all those leftover papers.

My paper stash is thrilled that I am finally using some of it.

Once I started I could not stop...it was so much fun!

I kept on going........

Then I switched to sepia ink.

Then I even started speaking French!!!

If you want to improve your penmanship go on over to Lori´s blog
and sign up for her Letter Lab class. She is a great teacher and the
class is so much fun!!
Thanks Lori....I really enjoyed myself.
