Along My Fence II

A happy bee in my garden along the fence. 

I have an abundance of pink Cosmos this summer.

Summer has returned to Germany this week.  Beautiful, breezy  and sunny.

What more could a girl ask for?

Along My Fence

There are so many flowers in bloom along my fence.

There are so many different kinds of bugs on these flowers along my fence.

This one is all over the yellow flowers.

Atleast he doesn´t bite like so many of the other ones do.

One of the many joys of summer around here,,,the biting flies.

I named him Ringo.  He can´t sing but he more than makes up for it with his looks.

What a beauty. This proves once and for all....don´t leave home without your camera. 

 Be it going  for a jog in the forest or even up the block to the market.  What a lucky shot.

This is a gold-green Ground Beetle, Carabus auratus and a member of the Carabidae family

which is a native to central and western Europe.  Thank you Dr. Africa Gómez, Biologist at the

Universtiy of Hull in England and her Bug Blog for filling me in on this information.
