Out My Patio Door VIII

We have been having lots of rain showers lately.  It is the coldest May on record so far. 

The storms seem to come from out of nowhere.  Looking out of my Patio Door has been

quite spectacular in the last few days.

I have a bad case of spring fever.  Who wouldn´t after so much snow.

 The snow is finally almost all melted.
I cannot wait until the view out my patio door is spring-like.

The sun decided to shine today and I was admiring all the shadows from the trees.

I was thinking that I will eventually start painting these shadow patterns

 in my sketchbook.

Then all of  a sudden I looked up......

 It´s a bird, it´s a plane...no just another helicopter.
You never know what might fly by.....

I really thought that by now I´d be sharing fotos of my tulips or something,,,,anything that
might resemble spring.  No such luck. Winter just does not want to go away this year.

I never know what I might see when I look out my patio door.

 This weekend these balloons were everywhere.

I guess it was good ballooning weather. 

This one actually landed in the field next to our house.  It sat there

for about 15 minutes and then took off again....off into the 

wild blue yonder.

Daybreak out my patio door,,,well this one was taken

from upstairs but it is always a  spectacular light show once

the sun starts to appear.

Quite a different sky from my winter shot out the door.

This was taken yesterday morning.

Yes, I live out in the middle of nowhere

but I love it out here in the countryside....away from the

hustle and bustle of the city.

The winter sunshine was trying to break through. It finally

did and we had a wonderfully sunny winter day.

I hope your weekend is full of sunshine.

Poppies are everywhere right now... fields and fields

of them.

Go out in the early morning when the air is cool and the

mist still clings to the ground. It is really quiet...just you

and a field of poppies.

Many vacationers head south to Italy at this time of year.

This was painted to the music of birds chirping, bees

buzzing, the sun shining and a gentle breeze blowing.
